Oh and yes after so many months of baking dry and heat, it is raining on tent and van city down the road as I speak. They'll all be up at the hall eating, drinking and gently steaming. 5 overnight next few nights but 30 during the day.
Some days it's hardly worth chewing through the restraints!
One bit of old folklore wisdom says to plant tomatoes when the soil is warm enough to sit on with bare buttocks. In surburban areas, use the back of your wrist. Jackie French

I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....
well I'm at work and waiting for the vet to call with Dom's blood test results. Apparently there's 'some elevated levels in his liver really rather high which the vet wants to consider further.'
My mojo has also skulked off someplace. Don't want to do school work. Just hashing and editing today of stuff I already have; but still don't want to do it. Now onto magic square number five. And spotted a superhot in the heated prop. So not all bad. Off to
Hair cut later. I only have two a year!
Oh bugger, hope your poorly puddycat is better soonest Hazel
Thank you, BB - the daft thing is that he doesn't have any symptoms as such (but does drink a bit more than he used to, I think) but that as a 15yr old cat I had the blood tests done as if there is some degradation of kidney function etc, it makes sense to tackle it sooner rather than later.
We could have just carried on, but I'd hate it if in a years time we found out he has something 'advanced' which can't be treated.
Wish the vet would phone.
