Well, I'm in to Dog-house. Himself just came breezing in, expecting me to be ready to go out. I was dozing in my office chair, feet up on the desk, cold empty coffee mug in my hand. Anyway, I've managed, between yawns, to persuade him to pop along for a couple without me, and I'll have a peaceful wallow without the sound of him bashing pans and watching sh!te that I don't want to have to listen to. Result.
However, I have had to promise to be more amenable and sociable tomorrow evening. . Still that gives me a few hours to psyche myself up. I had completely forgotten, we were supposed to be going out...

Ha! Done enough tripping to last me a lifetime or two. My ruddy knee still doesn't want to kneel properly - makes two hours of hand-weeding seem like all day.
My net curtains arrived today. Hopefully, I can now have open windows and NO BUGS!!

Busy day for me today again, so I'll not get to plant up number 2 GH. Really behind this year. Can't wait for my boys to be able to drive themselves!
OH is cycling in another race, London way and one of my boys is running in a county schools championship. I'll be out most of the day and he'll be running for less than a minute!

Your post takes me back a bit Scarlet, one son used to compete in athletics, 'sprinter', and the other used to compete in 'karting events', weekends spent taking them everywhere.

So true, I remember standing as he ran past, shouting ' go on RUN'!
Good memories.
