      • That made me titter! . I've cleaned the kitchen floor, a proper clean at that. Feeling virtuous, as I pulled out the fridge and tumbler, and cleaned under and behind. Nutter!

Now got to scrub up and go out to meet in-laws for a meal. Catch ya later!

        • Been not so bright here , but still managed a BBQ for the Dad's lunches. Opened up an email from BA this morning telling me it's 24 hours before your flight, time to check in. Considering we were off on Tuesday, I thought WTF. Long story short, yes we are off to Barcelona first thing in the morning and no, there is no more room in the hotel I have booked from Tuesday. Booked a hotel for one night, pain in butt to change hotels on a 3 day trip. Face booked work yo tell them I wasn't coming in after all. See you on the other side , my husband was not best pleased with me today .....

          • Evening peeps!

I'm back from the big smoke - had a great time with my big sister and walked our legs off roung Kew yesterday, and Sion Park (across the river from Kew, and coincidentally 5 mins walk from our hotel) today.

Need to nip up to little Morries for some milk for a cuppa!

Quiet here at the homestead as the cats are in the cattery until I pick them up in the morning.

The good thing is Barcelona is a great city, tapas, red wine, and white, street entertainment, excellent food, art galleria and lots of interesting places to visit.

                  Enjoy yourselves.

                      • I waved back Nannysally - [] (nearest I could get to a box lol).

This dog learns fast. After watching me pick a few ripe strawberries she jumped in and snaffled the biggest and ripest. Fortunately she didn't eat it and was happy to swap for her ball
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

Thank you, BB, I have a glass here now. I'm looking forward to having two cats to juggle who both wish for access to my lap, but have a mutual demilitarisation zone between them of about 18"

I squared back from the treetop walk - 80m high in the canopy of the woods - wonderful. Will stick a couple of pics up when I've sorted through them. )

                          And we saw parakeets too.

Sion Park well worth a visit - lovely grounds and enthusiastic guides to tell you all about the house.

I have friends who work at Sion House, as volunteers, they weren't called Julie and /or Roger were they?

                              • I have to confess that when I walk her on the lead round here, she usually greets everyone including the local 'yoof' - and I often tease them that she is a trained drug sniffer

And Hazel - being a gun dog with a soft mouth, supposedly, the prize strawb just needed a rinse
