What-ho, night owls! Just about to turn in after packing a small overnight bag*. Tell you all about my weekend when I get back on Monday.
*inc. biscuits (in case I get peckish on the journey); grapes & cherries (ditto); two dresses for evening (ooh!); smart jeans and nice top (for eveningwear too, if it's not dressy); two pairs of spare shoes (I know that I'll only be walking about 8 paces, but one pair does rub); spotty waterproof (in case of showers); cardy for if it's chilly in the evenings; jeans/vest top/long sleeve top/fleece (to cover all eventualities of daywear); crossword (for idle moments); phone/camera/battery charger; shampoo/conditioner (in case the complimentary stuff does not suit); steely attitude to UHT milk in hotel rooms.
I never introduced myself when I joined because I couldn't work out where to out it. Being as I still cannot manage to post pics despite great instructions from fellow grapes, I will do it here like Deano.
My husband and I are back garden gardeners, retired - hooray. Grandparents to two and we live just up the road from Jeanied. I am also passionate about my charity shop work, it keeps me on the straight and narrow.
There ain't nobody here but you chicken - well apart from me now. Just popped in on a break from the garden. My apprentice asked if she could come this morning and we've worked like Trojans until she left about 10 minutes ago. It's been glorious, but clouding over now. I envy your rain Chick, it would certainly help my beans.
Gloriously sunny day in West London, flying ant day as well. I live on an avenue and the birdies swoop en mass and land on the road to eat them. A few ants came in with the washing as well. Makes me itch just thinking about it.
