Eeeeeeeeeevenin' Peeps! Thanks for sending the weather, Martin. Currently having to cuddle a very distressed Dawg who is terrified of thunder.
Been a bit of a day, all in all. Luckily I had no plans, as my Bestie turned up first thing with suitcases and tears. Now taken up residence in the lounge (we have no spare room) for a couple of nights. Ho hum!

We've had rain, lots of it but we'd gone indoors by the time it started so it was the best sort of rain to have.

C'mon its past 7am and sunny, I've watered the garden, repaired dog damage (2 large containers of carrot seeds that they appear to have held some kind of dog event in. 3 inch deep footprints all over the place). overnight rain failed to materialise but at least the humidity has dropped. Of over Area 51 shortly to do some digging, weeding and watering.

The overnight rain definitely did happen here. Woke me up on a couple of occasions. No gardening today, going To our daughters for the local picnic in the park. Ground is very wet lol. Will get the little granddaughter to furtle the spuds and pill some carrots to hi with the dinner. I have noticed that my Pentland Javelin have little brown dots inside when I cut into them. Morning all,Have just been given the news from 2 extremely apologetic males,that 1 of them had pulled the wrong plug,my heart sank when i lifted the big freezer lid,apart from some odd bits that do not matter,the bulk of the strawberry harvest was in there,it could be 2 days ago it occured,sooooo,can anything be done to save them,or are they now compost,the bottom is swimming in strawberry water,most of them however are in baskets or shelf,and not sitting in the melt water,this really is NOT my year,sigpicAnother nutter ,wife,mother, nan and nanan,love my growing places,seed collection and sharing,also one of theseComment
