  • Ooops - I have just found a flea on Rosie while grooming her - I shouted 'you've got a flea' - the accusation wounded her to the core - I now have a deeply offended Springer!
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

        • Fortunately I have a remedy here to apply- bless her. the plumes on her ears, legs and tail are so long I have to groom her every day and even then, we get knots. I accidentally let her off the lead in the park today - usually a no-no - but after a couple of near recalls she came back to me and I was able to get her back on-lead. She loves the park

          • Morning I've been awake for hours so thought I might as well get up and have a wonder around the garden and feed my toms and courgettes with comfrey tea before any of the neighbours are up and about.

My in-tray still overwhelming - best knuckle down. Picked a huge bunch of sweet peas at the Hill last night and they are here in the office smelling lovely.

                      • If you have a springer spaniel, is there a rule somewhere that it has to be called 'Rosie'?

                        • Morning everyone who's up & about..............hope you're back is easier Bal, I've been there & got the T-Shirt...................Funnily enough, since retiring & being busy everyday, I've not been laid up with it. It's stiff everyday but you learn to live with it. As long as I have Co-Codamol & Ibuprofen at hand, I'll be ok.

                              • After such a beautiful week with unseasonably mild temperatures we're back into July weather today; warm and humid. I got caught up on some of my outdoor work while it lasted.

I'll wait until 7:00pm or later to work outside this week.

At least I don't have to trek through the snow ... yet. (I just recovered from the winter of 2011-2012.)
