Morning all! Rubbish interrupted nights sleep here - still v hot, and at 2am, the Next-door's house alarm went off.
They probably should leave the key with someone who doesn't gradually come to with the sound of the klaxon and go through a lengthy thought process consisting of 'gosh that's a loud bell...zzzzzzzz........wonder where it's coming from .........zzzzz.......wonder if it's coming from across the road. Tut. Or it might be the sound of the Next-door's bouncing off the houses opposite......uh-oh, I'd better get up and go and tackle burglars....'
By which time any burglar worth his salt would have emptied the entire house and be as far away as the next county.
Of course, it was nothing of the sort and the house was still secure with all the doors closed as they should be - I guess that it was either one of these big bluebottles who set it off, or a GIANT SPIDER which I saw the other day.
An hour and a half later, back asleep in bed, I heard a siren go off, and was up and round Next-doors again like a shot. Only to find - standing at their backdoor with all well - that this particular siren had been a car alarm from the car park in the town.

Funny enough hazel we had that problem on friday night our neighbours are away on holiday and the house alarm went of at 4am in the morning...It went on for about half an hour, kids got out of bed wondering what was going on..We all settled down again for it to go again at 5.30am..Then last night around midnight the alarm went off again and someone called the police because it was still going off at 1.30am..ARGGGHHHH friggin alarms

Right - I'd best get on. On today's list is to nip to the shops, do a couple of hours work , go and pick beans at the Hill, go for a training session.
The outdoor stuff needs to wait until it's cooled down a bit later, so that leaves me with doing some work, or going to the shops.
Hmm.
Anyone want anything fetching whilst I'm out...?

Yup totally agree Hazel...don't think there was any break-ins must just be a faulty alarm.
