    • I don't envy you BB. In the last week, I've gone from looking at decent hedge trimmers and pole saws, to saying never again, Noooooooo, I don't want to do the ruddy job ever again!

Well, I have finally finished cleaning and clearing out the caravan, so the new owner can take it. He quite likes free storage, but we want to free up the space now, and get tidy.

                • Afternoon, folks - I'm doing pretty well with my list of jobs.

The courgette chutney is simmering on the hob - the recipe says to simmer until the courgette is soft - anyone know how long this is likely to be?

I've stopped for a coffee before tackling the shepherds pies - are you all having a nice day?

Interesting drinks question there, Cariann. For me, generally not before 6pm, I would say - so here it is too early for vodka. Unless you are on sherry, as this seems to be an acceptable beverage to enjoy with the vicar even at 11 in the morning. As it is Sunday, you can have had wine with Sunday lunch (or a beer, if you are at the carvery or similar). Or if you are on holiday, all rules are out the window and drink when you want!

But I might be a bit puritanical!

                  • Afternoon I've been catching up in the garden nothing much just dead heading, gathering crops and weeding and I'll leave the feeding with comfrey until late this evening when no ones about.
