[Hazel at the Hill]

Having a good day here - I'm back from the Hill with bags and bags of stuff. I put my entry form in - chutney, beetroot cake, fruit cake, 'collection', pots white, pots red, runner beans, french beans, peas (hideous mistake - they've gone well over!), courgettes (not really got three terribly similar), rhubarb, lettuce, heaviest potato, odd shaped veg.

Just got to get playing a giant game of vegetable 'snap' later in order to pick my entries for Show day tomorrow Oh, and to put the ganache and white choc shavings on the beetroot cake.

Cup of coffee before nipping to get a paper and a new bean stringer from Lakeland.

Good afternoon, still sunny here. Manage to go out into the garden and check my veggies and see if they needed watering. Also sat out for a bit, but it goes cold when the sun goes behind the clouds so I have come in now.

Thats like i was with the runner beans I picked just over 2lbs and only found 3 beans that looked remotely similar.

It's worse for the Hill show than for the VVS - I have to find 7 that look the same!
