Sorry to hear about your garden BillHH.
Same weather here blue sky sunny but really really windy.
Our bird box on the side of our house has come down, lucky nothing in it now. Had to tie all my tomatoes to the fence posts as just getting battered. Wind seems to be blowing in a different direction to normal.

Bit of an odd day here too. Got up, walked poochies and mowed the front lawn whilst OITC lounged in the bath. Found a teeny frog in the pansies which made me smile. Went in to Aberdeen for a spot of shopping, unloaded the bags of Lakeland gold that we bought in the Borders and am now sitting with a beer (still on holiday) waiting for himself to 'urry up and make tea (dinner to him ).
The weather can't make it's mind up and has been a mix of rain and sun all day. When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it.
If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

Wild here too. Its high tide at 18.40, and, with the full moon, its predicted to be a very high tide. The wind is driving the water up the estuary and the normally placid water has white horses leaping about. I can see the breakers on the rocks on the opposite shore and the boats are flapping about on their moorings. Hope none of them break free tonight.
Clouds are racing across from the west, black, white, grey - solid or fluffy or wispy. A bit like liquorice allsorts!!
The good news is - the Treehouse is still in the tree but I don't fancy being in it - might be seasick
