  • G'Mooooooooooornin' Peeps. Rush, rush, busy, busy - never seems to stop lately.

Had an unexpected rush to the Vet yesterday one of the hounds decided to gash her foot. So the lovely chunk of money I collected later in the day, for a job, promptly got handed over when I collected her again. I think I'm twenty quid and a few pence up, but more would've been nice.

    You lot OK?

          • White no sugar please SP.

It's a nice morning down here, breezy and cool but dry. It looks like we're going to miss most of the bad weather (high 19, low 10). There are advantages to being in the dryest county!

I'll put a jumper on and do some weeding later.

Just having one whilst I'm reading the Vine, thanks for the kind offer.
Trying to get as much washing dry before I do my Saturday afternoon at the Charity shop. Now we are both retired there is definitely less washing to do, no work clothes x 2 makes easy work.
Picked a nice bowl full of cherry tomatoes and need to strip the runners and start giving some away/freezing some
              Happy Saturday folks

              • Morning all! I have a heap of housework to do today - the place is a health hazard, I tell ya!

                Have a safe journey, GL.

Missed you, G4 - we don't see so much of you lately, so it's nice to see you.

Have a happy day's shopping (and yakking - I know what it's like when sisters get together!), Carrie - let us know what you buy.

I'm not sure if I could work in a charity shop, NS - I'd end up bringing loads of stuff home with me. Can't resist a bargain.

Hope everyone manages to get some gardening done today - your weather sound dreadful, SP, but lunch sounds lovely. Whilst you're at the kettle, I'll have tea, thank you, then I'd best get on.

                • My husband used to roll his eyes a lot when he picked me up, but now I seem to have got everything we need, almost, so I buy things for my daughter and grandchildren. Simples

So on the ball Carol, he couldn't pick me up now without having surgery afterwards lol. I can walk to this shop in about 15 mins, but I was buying so much when I first started I always needed help with it. The habit of taking me home in car has stuck.

When me and my sis are together we end up arguing sometimes. Maybe coz we are a like. She is only 19. Still think of her as my baby sister but she is not so little anymore.

I didn't buy anything, but I manage to get my sister to buy me a tip sisterly love eh!

We had a nice lunch, now I am home I am just going to relax. Got my friend coming around later for a few drinks tonight.

I'm back into work tomorrow night so need enjoy rest of my time off!

                          • Hmm. Mrs H has had her Amazon account hacked, email and password changed and delivery address changed to a place in Buxton. So she's spent a happy few hours getting the account closed, cancelling credit cards, talking to the police and changing other passwords.

I've been able to help by making cups of tea at regular intervals.

                              • Hi All, sorry to hear your wife's been hacked Martin, hope she's got it all sorted now. I thought I'd been hacked the other day when the bank rang to say that someone had tried to pay £2,000 to a clothing company on line. Embarrassed, I had to admit it was me - I told you my eyesight's really bad, I had actually tried to spend £20.00 and you can guess the rest

Hope the pooch is ok now G4. Is she all bandaged up Bless her?

I've got backache I've been standing at the stove for so long messing with apples and making sausage rolls for the GGs.

Weather is windy but sunny here SP and it feels quite chilly. You can keep the rain

                                Catch you later I hope.
