Gonna chill out and watch a movie tonite...My wife bought Titanic 3D last week so it looks like thats whats on the agenda tonite..With a few glasses of red wine and some popcorn
Well the dog saved me a fortune in washing machine repair costs today by alerting me to a bra wire caught in the drum and making a racket - she is getting good at things like this - she lets me know by rushing up to me, looking at me and then looking at the source of concern and back again. I know there is something up when she does that!
Mind you in the balance of things I think the torn and chewed vinyl will offset the savings a bit
Ooh I nearly forgot - today is mine and Rosie's one year anniversary - I got her on 16th Aug 13 Will raise a glass to Veggiechicken tonight as she introduced us
Can't believe it was a year ago, Jeanie Amazing how quickly the year has gone..............Cheers to the next one
I've had the rattling in the washing machine too. Called out the repair man and he stuck his head inside the drum and had a rummage. Eventually he emerged, dangling a bra wire from his fingers, said "Is this yours, Madam?? and looked me up and down as if he thought I'd be wearing a lopsided bra - as if
Luckily, it was still under warranty - the WM that is, not the bra

SP we've been watching Tim Burton's 3D films I like his stop go animations.
... I don't remember that and I certainly would not be offering to accompany you into the operating theatre to investigate your jibbly jobbly bits - yuk!
...how to cook the pork loin chops for tea - bit boring just grilled/done in the oven, aren't they?
They were investigated well before-hand, Matey. This was the grand 'removal' of offending nasties. Can't believe it was that long ago, to be honest. Already steeling myself for this year's dice-with-needles visit! Not good for needle-phobics...
Anyway, back on the subject of your Chork Pops, Hubby has been known to make a tasty crust for them, with breadcrumbs, mustard and apple (sauce or chopped or whatever), and gawd knows what else. A bit like stuffing, but on the outside. Nice with other fruit in, like apricot/peach or whatever. . Make it up as you go along -he does!
I must have been asleep big time to have missed that, G4 .
Like the sound of the crust thing - did a marinade of soy sauce and honey, then chopped it up and stir fried it with courgette (obvs. ), french beans (ditto), onion, mushroom, garlic, and had it with noodles. Followed by a piece of choccy beetroot cake.
Hey no probs Hazel. I'm one of the lucky ones, and very grateful for that. There are so may people much much worse-off than me. Anyway, that's enough doom and gloom. Get yourself down the Pub, and have a fab night out!
Anyway, I'm popped, so I'm off to my pit. G'Night Peeps. Sweet dreamzzzzzzzzzz

It's a cooler evening tonight - first time having to wear a fleece to go out in months. Pub was ok, but the beer was not the best - hey ho, it was great last night, so you can't win 'em all.
The cat has just woken up, jumped off the chair, stretched, and told me that it is time for supper and bed - great life, being a cat! I'm yawning, so I'd better do as he says (rather than straying into the music threads and disappearing down memory lane till stupidly late), and turn in.
Hmm - I could just do with some cheese and biscuits for supper...........
