Brilliant news, Carrie! Really pleased for you both.

No glass of red for me just yet, SP - training beckons. It's a cooler evening, so I'm not looking forward to getting my shorts & T on, but I'll soon warm up when I get going. Lets see - tonight it's a warm up run, mini circuit repeats (squats, heel lifts, short run), and a jog home. Not too bad really.

    • Evening all, productive day - jam, chutney and relish made and the remnants of the preserving bomb that hit the kitchen have just been cleared away. Thursday night pint with friends a bit later.

Mr Q has been referred to the National Neurological Hospital in London as all the treatment being given here has pretty much failed. This is his 'last roll of the dice'; if he is pronounced well enough to travel then he will be sent for in the next 2-3 days. I am so grateful that they have not given up on him yet. Anxious times - again!

      • ((((HUGS)))) to you both, SusieQ.

Late home this evening, and I'm finding it a tad chilly! Yup, that'll teach me for complaining it was too warm.

        Coffee?

Susie - Never give up - they wouldn't refer MrQ unless they thought they could do something. Thinking of you both xx

Its been a funny old day weatherwise - not really a gardening day, so I've been catching up with shopping. Getting dark early now
Hope you're all OK - just going to catch up with the Vine

If it was carpal tunnel, I had mine done 4 years ago both hands at the same time lol. Seemed like a good idea at the time

                        • Thought it might be. I had one of mine done years ago - very awkward doing everything one handed. I think my other hand needs doing too - but I keep putting it off, knowing what it entails
Once your stitches are out, you're on the mend, BigV. Not long now

                              • I had both mine done at same time which meant I couldn't wash my own hair or anything for a few days. My kids thought it would be funny to tip cold water over me when I asked them to wash my hair.

                                Bless em
