We've got a two hour delivery slot for the cooker to arrive so that's better than having to hang around all day.

Morning all. The sun has got his hat on again today, so I'm going to pop down the allotment, make sure everything is secure after the wet and wind and see what needs picking while daughter and son in law (who are staying with us) are still in bed.

Looks like it's going to warm up again tomorrow, summer returning.

Brighter and breezy here, but with a definite nip in the air. I might need socks on
I have just been up to my elbows in a pan of damsons, squeezing the stones out. Is there any better way? Yet to find one, and this is so 'squidgy'.

Off to meet a friend for coffee. Finish the jam later. Have a good one everyone.

Well we have a sunny start today here too - lovely. Only marred by the trauma of rounding up the two pets for a vet visit - cat for blood tests and dog for boosters. Cat took it all fine, but peed in her carrying crate. Dog decided the vet was no longer her best mate and peed on the consulting room floor. Fortunately the nurse was available to deal with both.

Now I have to give the dog's tail and back end a wash outside so just as well it is getting warmer! And the blanket from the cat's crate is in the washing machine now.

Lovely day here, off out to lunch with friends from Age UK, to celebrate a birthday. Washings out and picked some tomatoes whilst out there. Have a great day everyone
