    • Thanks, Bren

The link went a bit funny but I found the pdf of the recipe here. Haven't got any chorizo, but I have the other pheasant in the freezer and might give it a go for that. Depends on how Mr S's recipe comes out!

      • Hazel the bones make a nice tasting stock add some pearl barley and veg and you've got a good soup.

          • I've finally remembered, after about FIVE YEARS!!! to get some spray-on waterproofer for one of my Jackets, which is now drying, ready for use in a couple of days. That should dry the weather up!

Now, there's some left in the bottle - shall I waterproof one of the Dogs?

            • Geef, if only you'd said - I'd've borrowed you some of mine! We've got bottles and cans of the stuff. I'm not sure why, but we have.

It's been a totally crappy day. I'm glad to hear good news about Michael Schumacher - that makes things a bit better.

              • Rosie and I went to WW - she is a very popular member!- I lost a lb and I think she probably got a bit of exercise rushing round telling everyone what a gorgeous girl she is - great to find a group that is a bit more flexible than the long queue of solemn weigh ins.
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

                • Right - the cats have had supper at 9pm (prior to Domino cat's ultrasound tomorrow on his liver - for which he is nil-by-mouth as he will have a sedative - which will determine if whether his high liver enzymes on his blood tests last week are due to tumours or are treatable. Do keep up) which was unexpected to them.

Now it is supper time - and bedtime - they are looking at me waiting for the food bowls to appear.

I'll herd them from the kitchen to upstairs - and once I am in bed, I suspect that the puzzlement at the lack of grub will be palpably radiated throughout the land. If you feel a small feeling of unease in 10mins or so, that will be the reason why.

                          • Morning all. Lashing with the wet stuff again here and no mountains to be seen.
Awake much of the night worrying about Hazel's poor starving cats. And aching shoulder and knee - trying to work out if it is 'just' post Lyme arthritis or if I still have joint-munching bacteria at large. We are having curry tonight with lots of tumeric as it is an anti-inflam. The curry cure:-)

Have a good day you lovely lot
