  • Washings out, looks like it's going to be a nice day. Got some lovely runners to pick for dinner, looking forward to that
It's ice bucket challenge day today. How old am I? Must be barmy. Mind you, a visit to the pub for ice seems ok though.
Got the family coming over for a big roast. Look forward to it, but always sink into my chair with a cuppa when they go.

            Ha! That's me!!!

Taxi home for us is a must, so our trip to the pub is usually a planned affair with dinner involved strangely enough I've got out of the habit of just going for a quick drink. The babysitting fees on top of the £10 taxi fare put paid to that.
Now the boys are 15 and don't need a babysitter they want to come too, so it's an expensive hobby.

            • Morning all! Late on parade today, but that's what Sunday is all about.

It's sunny spells here this morning, by the look of it - Domino approves enough to be sitting on the bench at any rate.

No training for me today, but nip to the shops for some bits & bobs, back to do some baking (that'll please VC and all you other gannets!) and to the Hill to tackle the jungle that is the currant bushes. I've borrowed a lopper thing, so hope that that will make the job easier.

What are you lot up to?

                    • I went to lottie shop to get a roll of roof felt for the roof, lugged it back to lottie only for lottie neighbour to say 'take that back at once, I've a roll in my shed you can have', lugged it back again. Saved me 18 quid lol

Dad and lottie neighbour then refelted my shed roof whilst I supervised from the sidelines.

Spend lunchtime school uniform shopping, always leave to the last minute. Great productive day.

Any room for one more? I love Sunday dinners with lamb.

                            • Definately Carrianne, big leg bought when on offer at local C@@p, then yellow stickered and frozen, got two. Don't know what pudding is because my Daughter is supposed to be making it. The chances of that are close to zero lol. We do have Lids version of strawberry cornetto in the freezer. They are delicious and only £1.55 for 6.
                              See you around 4.30 ish?
