Good Morning and a Very Happy Friday Blue sky with pink clouds, very pretty. Just been told only one Golden Girl tomorrow night, the youngest. The other two are out partying. I think I've got to come to terms with the fact that the other two may not be coming to stay for much longer. Time marches on. Have a lovely day

The best thing here is that I can take them to the local pharmacy and they tell you which are safe to eat and which aren't!....how cool is that!

Morning all, bit nippy here this morning but there's a clear blue sky and the sun is trying its best to break through - think it will be a perfect Autumn day later made more so as the OH has kicked me out of the office as he's got a deadline and I disturb him to much (yippee!)
I'm going to make the most of it and practise a little sugar craft

We watched the final of The Great British Bake Off the other evening ...it was a fantastic series and I really do admire their ability and never failed to be gobsmaked at other people's creations!

Any piccies of your sugar craft Scarlet?..what sort of thing do you make?

I love all creative stuff too - I've been toying with the idea of starting a cake business. (Boys take a lot of my time but will soon go to uni) but I'm not sure if people will pay for the work it involves. I love flowers - so sugar flowers on cakes. No modelling characters really.
Working on poppies and rosehips. I've run out of black....

Thank you Nicos, I've got all day today so I'm hoping to finish a few. OH has a deadline so I've a day to myself. Just popping out to get some more dusts for petals, mice for sons snake!! & do our food shopping and then I'm back to it. Will post a pic later of a finished one

Morning folks. Slow surface to reality this morning due to a particularly vicious nightmare between 6am and 8am. I wish I could get out of this. Dog, being a total empath, is having an extra sleep to be alongside me on the sofa.
The sun is shining and I must get a line of washing out!

Back from the vets. Percy's eye is healing but need longer so has pirate look for another week. Have three sets of drops to apply three times a day half an hour apart. Anyone coming round to help? Not sure what I'll do on work days.
