What a lovely weekend Rosie and I have had! Adventures and friends for a meal yesterday, and today an hour on the allotment - Rosie digging holes and hiding her ball and me forking over two beds and planting garlic, shallots and onion sets. Then both of us went off to the park for an hour of ball chasing with another dog called Rosie, home for supper and now relaxing on the sofa. Have put the heating on for the first time just to take the chill off - early bed for both of us I think!

Cold but sunny here this morning! Had a lazy Sunday having a look through some old camcorder tapes of the kids when they were young! Bought a little gadget which transfers video to my laptop and then I can put the film on a DVD. I am virtually computer illiterate and am so chuffed with myself that I managed to get the thing working! Now to find the time to actually do the job. As lottle says the clocks will go back soon so plenty of time then I suppose. Hope you all have a lovely day.
Oh Jeanied are you getting a new puppy?sigpic

Good afternoon, spent most of the morning doing nothing! Well it's not completely nothing, I have managed to wash my bedding(which reminds me I need put it back on my bed) Look like it is about to rain out there. So I am staying in doors, apart from when I have to go and get my flu jab.Carrie

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarternooooooooooooon Peeps! Can anyone lend me a canoe!? I think it must've rained all night again, last night, and has done most of the day, so far. My Chooks are soggy and bedraggled, and keep telling me off about the rain! The dogs have had a run, in the pouring rain, with their spotty chum. The footpath is flooded in places, so much fun was had by them - bless!
Hubby decided yesterday was a good day to replace the rear side windows in my Landy (the dogs' section), so I helped, and we got the job finished about half an hour before the drizzle started. An hour later, the heavens opened, so I wasn't hopeful of a dry interior this morning. However, I was pleasantly surprised!
Hope you're all well? Coffee? All the best - Glutton 4 Punishment

Just caught up on Gardeners World and Beechgrove. A really splendid Beechgrove episode there, as they always seem to be when they are mostly Jim McColl.
If there is only room for one, I think the BBC should put Beechgrove on in primetime down here and relegate GW to the Sunday stupid-o-clock slot.
Now for a nap before dinner...

Couldn't agree more Martin!
And ironically that's my next port of call now I've just pigged out on a lovely homemade sausage casserole which I set off in the "Crock Pot" at 4am this morning before embarking on a full n mental day in paradise!
But done! n now have 5 days off!

Late evening all, just managed to dry out after getting absolutely drenched today, I felt that cold when I got in I had to turn the shower down as it felt far too hot.
Actually sat in my dressing gown for the first time in months and the tips of my fingers look like white prunes, nothing a drop of medicine wont sort ( well Glenfiddich)
