Dreary day here. Tried drying the washing on the line but now indoors. Percy was at the vets again today. Opened eye flap to discover stitches from last one have rubbed making another corneal ulcer on old one. Back with another eye lid flap and collar and no rubbing eye or going out for another week. On the plus side they seem to think the eye underneath is ok, so hoping for a good outcome whenever we get there.

I took my new pup to meet my Mum yesterday. Now Mum is 94 and a bit deaf...........

Mum says "What did you say her name is?"
Me " Its Bessie"
Mum " That's an old fashioned name, Hello Betty"
Me. No Mum, its Bessie.
Mum "Oh, Hello Becky"
Me "Nooooo Mum, its Bessie with an SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS"

We got there eventually - though she may have forgotten by the next time we go there
