Up early this am to see guests off...flippin heck, it was pitch black at 8am

sooo glad we're going on to BST Sunday morning

We had friends over last night and I did a lamb stew with barley, our own carrots, leeks and spuds served with our own beetroot and Cavelo Nero, followed by bread and butter pudding and custard - using our own apples, plum jam and eggs.

Lovely winter nosh, wood fire, candles and sharing our own produce with our bestest pals.

BM ...on the subject of changing the clocks back on Sunday.....I always think of it as Saturday night, and not Sunday...cos I change them all before I go to bed on Saturday night!

So far I've never forgotten either the Spring or Autumn clock change....

I know, it's all a bit silly as I think most folk changes the clocks before going to bed. I'm sure there is a logical reason for the 2am change................

My form was green, but I think it was the '2wks or more' form. Don't forget to send the mods copy to VC ( although I'm sure it will end up as chicken bedding, or made into seed pots or something).

It's FRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDAY and not a day too soon! From what I can see from behind the desk, it's dull, but not actually raining.

Morning everyone! Dull and grey here but the good news is it's half term!!! No rushing around at 6 in the morning The boys are still in bed and I can't do any cleaning cos my living room has become a bike maintenance workshop overnight! As their Father does the same, I think I'm learning to live with it
