              • Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! Nutters!

Yes, still on the wagon. No problem, easy, despite all my chums telling me I wouldn't manage it! However, I will jump gladly off it on Saturday, but only because I'm sick of cordials, squashes, waters ... Not tired of coffee, or milk, but don't like either late in the evening, as I then have to get up in the middle of the night.

Right, I' going for a quick dunk in the bath, then bed. G'Night.

                • On the way back from the allotment today I was struck by pangs of envy from a plot near mine. Just look at these melons!

Fantastic. I'm so jealous. I must try harder next year.

It was really nice and peaceful down there today. It's forecast to be even warmer tomorrow, 21c!

                  • Wow - those melons are superb, Martin!

It has been lovely warm and sunny day today - uncomfortably warm when I was running at lunchtime. No complaints, though - the park is just stunning - I should have stopped to take a couple of pics.

Been up since before 6am. Got my second lot of washing sorted ready to go in already, kids all fed and watered and I have just done my mah-jong challenge of the day.
Just waiting for OH to get up now.

                        • Didn't quite make it to the predited 38C today - but was blowing a gale. Watered half the garden.

Hoping it's not quite as hot tomorrow so I can get the other half done.

Lots to do these days off. Inside and out.

Sounds like your autumn is going better than our spring. We had rain, but it's nastily hot to early.

                              • Morning all.

Beautiful day here. I've had to spend the last hour or so taking the punctured wheel off the car, which got a metal spike in it at the allotments yesterday I've got the "space saver" wheel on now... I wonder if I can persuade Mrs H to drop me off at the allotment while she goes to quik-fit? It's worth a try but I reckon my chances at less than 50-50...
