Hehe Jeanie. If I go out the front door then jake is fine. However if I leave by the backdoor he cries. So I have to go out the front and walk round to the back to get my car ..
S*d the housework I have a lottie to dig a batch of jam is always an act of creation ..Christine Ferber
Good mornin all. School work Sunday. A lot to reflect on with having done the first week. Branston toast first and then taking a walk to the plot for a reccy. Fear it may be very damp. Have a good day darlings!
Morning All....Brighter and drier here today. Hooray! (There's a big front coming up the Channel but, perhaps if we ignore it, it'll keep on going - The Bore surfers can have it!)
Just cutting out a couple of aprons from some cream & burgundy polka dot fabric. I've had it for ages, but it was a beggar to match to anything and then, yesterday, I found a FQ with summer berries on it - hey presto! Jam-making themed apron.....I spent a couple of hours late last night making jam pot appliqués. They've turned out kinda cute!
Coffee?
PS I wondered where the Spring had gone, Martin!

Coffee. Garden. Coffee. Does a good morning need anything else?

Sunshine here too - the washing is on the line, and I'm just off for a run.
Do I have to say the word 'photo' to you, Jules?? I think we have established that you are not going to get into 'trouble' if you post one?? (and if you get anyone sending you a pm to that effect you can forward it to me an' I'll deal with 'em! )
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarternoooooooooooon Peeps. We have dry and sunny here today. Last night's gale-force wind have dried everything considerably. I had to resurrect one of the Chickens' wind-breaks, but that's a small price to pay.
Horsey chores done. Ridden out with Chums on the 'spare' horse. Then home to play with the dogs, and help Hubby with the bonfire. Chooks were shut in so the dogs could 'help' and you wouldn't believe the state of them now - dirty little buggas! I may go get a picture, if I can be arrissed. They'll both need a hose-down before coming back inside.
Nice Daffy Martin (was it Martin? I cba to go back a page to check). It must be spring, the Horses are all chucking their coats. Call me a pessimist, but I can't help thinking there's worse to come - it usually snows in March...
Anyone for a cuppa?

I'm back from my run, which was heavy going - the training plan called for a series of 50m uphill sprints, which really is no distance at all. So innocuous sounding - but strewth, such hard work!
