Hope the forecast sunny day tomorrow really arrives.

              • Aaaaaaaaaaaaaarternoooooooooon Peeps! I got right royally soaked this morning. Left the boys in their warm dry stables, and they didn't complain one little bit. However, I do have to visit the rant thread again in a mo...

Dogs had a run in the torrential rain, and were washed off in the flood on the way back to the car, so at least they were clean and soaking when we got home. Quick rub with a towel and they were happy.

                Coffee?

                • I didn't think Rosie could have got any wetter or muddier after our walk. She had other ideas and plunged into the canal after a duck - I wasn't quick enough to stop her!

                  • No rain here today - looks like a let-off given what the rest of you have had. Very wet underfoot, mind, dug up the last of the spud and dispite it being quite free-draining at the Hill, it was extremely muddy.

Not as muddy as the cross country training run that I did this morning....

All good prep for the 10k next weekend at Kingsbury water park.

PS my calves aren't really that mahooosive - just the angle was funny using the phone to take a selfie.

                      • My daughter's been in London for the weekend Jeanie, she said how wet it was, but wonderful. She couldn't get over the Winter Wonderland and really enjoyed some museums. She's off to Edinburgh in a fortnight, her other half has a business trip, so she's going with him. Oh the joys of having a nearly-eighteen-year-old to hold the fort while you're away. I dare say we'll get Chester again. He's gone home this afternoon, been here since Friday. I've lost count of how many times I've washed the floor!
