What-o! Just back in time for a nightcap? Brandy and port sounds like rocket fuel - I'll stick to the red if there's any left?
Just a quickie, mind - I'm up early in the morning to go faster than any human being has ever gone before!!!!
Er.........
.......that is, I'm hoping to break my 5k pb at the Walsall Parkrun.Last edited by Hazel at the Hill; 08-02-2014, 12:07 AM.

Morning all - a red squirrel running up and down a tree just now whilst two red grouse and other birds are eating the seeds we scattered last night.

Went to Plymouth yesterday to buy a second hand range cooker, the sun was blinding and we had to find our sunglasses, a truly gorgeous day until lunch time then it turned biblical with rain wind and hail. This morning we had a smattering of snow! What a difference a day makes.photo album of my garden in my profile http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...my+garden.html

Well it is raining at the back of my house and sunny at the front - and it is only a diddy house!
Went out earlier to top up the bird feeder - first candidate to land on it was a blackcap!
ETA - now it is hailstones!Last edited by Jeanied; 08-02-2014, 09:07 AM.Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

Glorious morning here too - although it's not set to last.
Been out doing laps of Walsall Arboretum with a couple of hundred like minded souls. Pressed the stopwatch when I started, but forgot to turn it off when I finished, so will have to wait until the results are published on line to see if I am indeed the fastest human being in the world. (well - my world at any rate. ).
Runner of the day has to be the sikh gent in full turban and beard wearing a football shirt with 'USINGH BOLT' on the back. Quality!
Back home to do housework now.

Good morning all.
Left over Chinese for take away. Have some leggy baby toms to pot up. Bit scared to put them in the 4TB, as I don't want to them to keel over. Was debating putting aubs in heated prop.
Counselling work to attempt today and more knitting perhaps
Week 2 of new post. Getting there. Had a few interesting sessions on feminism and cultural differences. I won't say any more as I don't want to start a fight.
Big love to Aunty binley, I think of her every morning as I park up!

Results are in I'm not quite the fastest runner in the whole wide world, but I was within touching distance of a pb, and 19th out of 56 women, and 4th out of 12 women in my age group. Happy with that.Last edited by Hazel at the Hill; 08-02-2014, 11:48 AM.

Sounds like you are settling in, which is great - not long till half term and you can have a breather!
