Yeah, I went out on the boat once, and my mate had a go, and managed to get up once or twice. I didn't even bother. I wanted to drive the boat, but they wouldn't let me.

Just to let you all know if the wind we are having in Torquay is heading up counrtry, which it is, you are in for a treat. I went into the poly tunnel just now and one gust hit it like an express train. I held onto the frame for a while but then realised I could end up in Newton Abbott so I came in. I darent look out the window right now.
I've done that paragliding being towed by a speedboat. God alive, the burns I got from the nylon harness took months to heal. You should never have friction burns there......

To be fair, I rather like Newton Abbott - but I wouldn't want to travel there by polytunnel, I don't think.
Evening all! I've been to the theatre tonight - ooh - get me! My bro & SIL ended up with a spare ticket for Seven Brides for Seven Brothers at the Alex in Brum, so I got to go.
What a fabulous show! The cast were superb - so talented.
Morning All - the wind has died down a bit and it is not actually raining at the moment, but grey and overcast. So fed up with this weather. However, on the plus side, I don't live on the Somerset levels. We went to the cinema last night to see "All is Lost" with Robert Redford; fantastic! Not sure what I am going to do today - some planting in pots for the spare bedroom I think - need to make a start even though the weather is really depressing. Have a good day all.
Morning all - we seem to have a resident grouse plus various small birds all using the shelter outside the door - I see a few of these about and now think they were built by the Parcs Rangers.
Red Squirrels seem to be in short supply this week - I have only seen one so far whereas in the
past you could see them running about all over the place. May just be the wet weather??
