        • Evening all! Just back from a run to Sains for cat litter.

Cat litter weighs a ton, so I got the bus back. I was the only one on, and no one at any of the bus stops until my stop - bit like a taxi service.

Feel virtuous after all that exercise - I may treat myself to a glass of elderflower wine. Bath first though, I think. Laters, peeps!

          • Evening All. Just been paying some bills (ouch). The dreaded sner has been forecast for tomorrow morning, but clearing later. I have today booked the next four Mondays as annual leave - I can once again pretend I work part time. I've been rooting around in the seed box again, but still can't find any inspiration. I do love looking at Jeanie's handwriting, it's copperplate, she even makes the word cabbage look alluring I have a bottle of white chilling in the fridge, but there is also a bottle of soda water. I have been making spritzers lately, taking heed to some advice of "take more water with it".

            • Hallo everybody peeps. When did I become a tuber? Does that mean I make noises now?

I have an open bottle in the fridge too but am in a quandary. The dog is laying on me and my legs are over oitc. All three of us on the sofa... Who moves to go get a glass of it?
When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it.
If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

              • Here are two photos to entertain- the first one is a German Shepherd x wolfhound similar to the dog Rosie and I met today. The second is my new mending tin from A**i.

                  • It does look like a Wookie, Jeanie! One of the staff at work, a lady who lives alone but for a parrot lost her 15-year old GS last year, so she bought a GS pup. He is 6 months old now and a pretty big specimen. His name is Moose and it really suits him! The parrot says "Shut up Moose" when the dog starts barking - I bet you can imagine the look on his face!

                    • Rosie did her usual running off trick in the park this evening- we all pack up the toys and put leads on and she runs off to play with any off lead dog she can find. She was a nightmare this evening - she went off to two strangers before she came to me ready to go to the car in the car park. It is so near the road I get worried. Fortunately I have a seminar with a dog psychologist coming up! I will be taking notes and asking questions!
