Find anything interesting in the attic Chick? I must admit, I found some thoroughly uninteresting stuff in the drawer I cleaned out, most of it rubbish.

Interesting?.............debatable A big sheet of perspex that may make a lid for a cold frame, some empty cardboard boxes for mulch. plastic water carriers for liquid manure, maybe? And a stack of letters that I wrote to my parents from Oz 40+ years ago. Can't bring myself to read them though - nor can I throw them away Like a lot of the clutter up there, too many memories to bin them. One day, maybe.

I've been in VC's attic and can vouch for the cardboard boxes, they mainly once contained wine I might add!!!
Evening peeps!!
Today my dog had me laughing, he was out in the garden playing in the rain when he startled my smallest chicken Daisy, who had flown her run to wander round the rest of the garden and go for a dustbath in the greenhouse. He started to run towards her and did his normal puppy antics crouching low hopping up and down, until she turned and ran at him. he fled into the house terrified. She barely reaches his armpit for pity sake....I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

I'll read the letter for you VC!
Glad to hear you lot are not paddling around as much today.
Our ground is still slightly damp which is fantastic. I will drop by the river on the way home this aft and check if it's up a bit as well - hope so.
I made some purchases on ebay and horsey sites last week, so hoping they have all turned up At least some of them should have. The nag's red bridle should be here - he'll love that! And maybe his red and black western style saddle cloth. Will be good if my landline phone that will tak and make txts is there too.
Picked up the saddle after repairs yesterday. All ready to go. Harry.......I say Haaaarrrrryyyyyy! Where's that darn horse gone?
And there's a faint tinge of green in the paddocks! The garden should perk up a bit now too - bit late to grow much.Ali
