G'Mooooooooooornin' Peeps! Very cloudy here (the weather, and me - I'm steel feeling meh!) but the sun is trying to break through, and it's very mild.

I was only thinking, the other day, that I should hang things out to dry, on hangers. Not such a daft idea, really. Anyone for a Coffee? Millionaire's shortbread? Yeah, I'm comfort-eating... But I'm in a better place than yesterday, so it won't last.

Hope the rest of you are all fab!

      Mornin!

Warm, sunny and breezy here. Looks like it may drizzle later though.

Got peeps staying for a couple of days so I need to iron some bedding

...That'll teach me to be lazy

It's for lunch (had Nigel Slater's cheese smothered potatoes with chicken and veg so no room for soup too), so I'll let you know then. Hope the french stick (for the crouton thing) doesn't go stale - or perhaps you won't notice if it is.

My washing seems to be disproportionately bedding, towels, tablecloths and undercrackers, and it wouldn't work for that, though.

          Morning all..

          Dry and bright here....
With all the talk of washing lines and clothes hanging etc, I thought I was on the wrong forum...

If you were to hang everything out on hangers, would you ever get your knickers in a twist ?
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

Up for 5 minutes and got put in charge of changing clothes from one machine to another. Would hang them out-blue and white sky-but ma reckons it will precipitate down later.

Left over Chinese for breakfast, as I can, for the moment. Going doollaly over this new job I'm supposed to have. Been messed around already. And then pumpkin souping. Ma has chopped it across the middle rather than down the middle.

                  BUMMMMMMMMOCKS!

I decided to cheer myself up by house-hunting. Shoot me now! Found a fab place; almost the right location, too many rooms, and big ones at that - much better than this rabbit-hutch. Decent garden and a paddock for my Him-with-the-big-nose and the chooks. OK it's a bit dearer, but take out the cost of the livery I'm paying, and transport, and it wouldn't be too bad.

However, there's nowhere secure for Mr.G's motor-full-of-stuff, and there's a ruddy chuffing bleeping footpath right through between the paddock and garden, and right up against the ruddy side wall of the house!

So much for cheering myself up...

Lol you lot, even the knickers get pegged to hangers!

On the line, pegs are used to keep the hangers sliding together. You get so much more washing per ft on line too

I was thinking about how much extra I could get on the line, too.
