Served brunch for the grandchildren. 9 year old grandson eats more than me

However, all 3 were delighted to be served with bacon, eggs, fried bread, and baked beans. 9 year old had mushrooms too, but the littlies don't like them.

Returned to Alloway today to take up where rain stopped play yesterday at Old Alloway Kirk, Brig a Doon and Burns Monument.

Camera was playing up so pics are a bit fuzzy.

Afternoon not achieved much today apart from some reading, I did venture out as soon as the rain stopped to pick sprouts while Mr Pots dug up some parsnips but that was it for outdoors today.

It turned into a lovely afternoon here after all. Until, that is, I decided to turn off the vacuum and go out to do the Chooks. Then it blew and rained, and blew, and I said a rude word and came back in again.

I did a full English for my GGs, son and grandson this morning, they love it. I do sometimes however regret not having a dishwasher

I'm with you there, Flo. Although, we do have a dishwasher - just nowhere in the house to install the ruddy thing!
