        • Absolutely yikes. Let's hope it's mostly tabloid hype. We, in Somerset, need no more rain.....

150mph winds......Bins, don't do anything with that PolyT just yet!!!

          • The flooding in your neck of the woods looks horrendous Jules, hope you don't get even more.

            • So that's why you were so keen to get the parking area done, Bins!

I'm sticking with the tea - have come all the way through Jan and don't want to fall at the last hurdle. *shines halo

I'll save the malbec for Saturday night.

                • I think you should forward that article to the BBC weathermen G4, there was no mention of it today

                    • Wrap that Poly back up and store it safely, Binners.

Alternatively, you could get Hubby to build it, cover it in sommat waterproof, and turn it upside down. Whilst you go buy some Oars...

                      • Flo, every forecast says something different

We personally, are not in the deep flood area. Yet. Don't let me get on my soapbox here; we've watched two programmes about the flooding and government 'experts' haven't mentioned the lack of dredging once. These lands are reclaimed I believe, by Dutch engineers in the 18th century, but they won't stay reclaimed without regular maintenance.
