  • Morning Nicos

End of an era today in the BB driveway,no 4WD vehicle

Might take Mrs BB across the border for a nice pub lunch (leek pie & a pint of Brains),once I have got to grips with all the buttons & stuff in the new (to me) "sensible" car

    • Morning it was cold overnight, the GH temp was down to 0.8c hopefully my seedlings won't have minded too much.

      • Morning all, fit like? I have been mooching around since about 2am due to a poorly dog.

A bright sunny morning here with a bit of frost. I am experimenting with planting "beans and peas on David and Chad" (today/tomorrow) as the saying goes.

That's after a trip to the vets...
When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it.
If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

        • Give the doggy a hug from us, Kitty - hope all is ok.

Morning all - just a flying visit here - I'm off in a mo to take my Godmother back home to Bedford. Mum is coming along for the ride. We are diverting to the big Morries at Binley on the way back (in search of cod roe), so I'll be sure to wave to Bins.

              • Had an emergency trip to the vet yesterday - Rosie choked on a large piece of rawhide and then swallowed it - and then started little woofs and throwing herself round the room. By the time we had got there she was fine, if a little subdued.
Then back just in time to go to a seminar run by a dog behaviour specialist - fascinating session - I took notes all the way through - I may just invest in some books to learn more
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

                • Well, back home from the vets. We took video to show them and they haven't a scooby. Best guess is an epileptic seizure affecting a localised area. If it happens again then straight to Glasgow vet school neurology department... again.

Jeanie, same happened to Maisie (the poorly one) more than once so have banned rawhide. Glad she is ok x

                  • Morning All Started out a beautiful, sunshiny day - now it's going rather black overhead and that's since I hung the washing out of course. Sorry to hear there have been some poorly pooches, hope they are both ok now. I have very slender leeks. I grew them on the bed I used for peas, so I'll not be doing that again. No 4WD BB? Is that permanent? You know you'll make it sner don't you?

                    • Is is rather sunny here today - went to the park and called in to the allotment on the way home. Parked up and wandered round the plots, chatted to a few lottie neighbours, caught up on the gossip - got back into the car and the wing mirror thermometer was reading 18 degrees Driving home the heater was sending out cool air to bring the internal temperature down to 21 degrees inside!

                        • Afternoon all. Went down to the plot and filled in some dips to level out ground. It's beautiful outside.

Collecting more Shakespeare today-twelfth night in half and hour, Currently having tea and cake at the Warwick art centre-have penciled in a few more

Tough week this week. Man vs masters decisions. Renewing the husband hunt, folks. Turn 30 before Easter, urgency is starting to build as I really don't want to spend more time alone.

                            • Eeeeeeeevenin' Peeps - Neighbour came home same time as Hubby. Parcel handed over - it was for Hubby. Mumble grumble... Ten minutes later a parcel arrived for me. Picture frames that I've been waiting for. Happy happy. Have to say, I haven't been waiting long, I just don't like waiting...

Hope the Vine's poorly pets are on the mend - makes me sad when they're under the weather.

Currently supping a glass of Prosecco, and waiting for Rost-Biff!

Now trying to remember who, on the Vine, used to call it that...

                              Cheers!
