Why oh why does the dog have to top off her breakfast by eating something inedible? She has been outside and brought a piece of rotten wood in, which I promptly put in the bin, so out she goes and is now back in, chewing on a rose hipWhooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

Morning, bit cold out but no wind or rain
I got those 'His Dark Materials' books out that grandaughter gave me to read and noticed it was a brand new boxed set, I didn't like to open them so instead I bought my own copies of ebay for £4.
So was wondering what others would have done.
Whoops I had to leave quick forgot about my blood test at the Docs.

Chasing the dog round the garden to stop her getting yet more wood to chew - I look up and see this fella in my tree again- fortunately he stayed around for me to get the camera!

Aaaaaaaaaaarternoooooooooon Peeps! Had a lovely Dog walk with our chum late this morning, and bumped into my Ma and her Hooligan. The four Dogs belted around, up and down the banks, and in and out of the flooded ditch, and had a fantastic time.
You lot OK?

Evening All Beautiful weather for gardening - and I'm exhausted. Digging, clearing, weeding, lopping...................in need of a "heads on desks" moment Do they still do that in schools (or in offices)? Do they still have desks?.........with a china inkwell in the top corner (and an ink monitor to fill them), and a groove for your pen, and a lift up lid, covered in initials..............them were the days. I think I'm regressing..............

Anyone else find it amusingly ironic they keep playing the intro of bittersweet symphony by the verve as the intro to the footy?Never test the depth of the water with both feet
