Morning! A shimmer of frost on the shed roof this morning - birdies everywhere in the garden on the feeders - and a woodpecker hammering away somewhere in the neighbourhood. Anyone would think I live in a rural setting instead of half an hour train ride from Paddington!
Rosie has taken to giving me broad hints that she wants to go out - involving fetching her lead and standing by the front door pleading!
Well that was fun - a walk in the park when we took a new route and found a cowslip meadow!
My investigations into which kind of Springer Rosie is have taken another turn, we met a female working Springer who was a couple of months older than her with a full trim and docked tail. It was clear the difference between the two so I reckon Rosie is a show Springer after all. Rosie is bigger and her hair is longer, heavier muzzle and generally bigger boned, the working Springers are light and bred for work!
So funny to see the two of them together in the park, playing kiss chase.
Then home for a spot of jetwashing - this Indian sandstone gets very green very quickly.
Evening All !! Another busy day in the garden in the sunshine - although there was a chill wind that kept me moving
Luvly to see the signs of spring though - all the birds and bees are at it............well the birds are - can't truthfully say that I've ever seen a bee "at it" "
Just winding down with a glass of red and a catch up with the Vine gossip
Can I pass the bottle? Cheers
