Was foggy till about two then the sun came out so I went to the Lottie for the 5th day in a row and was the only one there dig two 1metre by 1 metre plots to whack my raised beds on for strawberry and asparagus ( I think ) and made a sawdust path in castle bodge Tm I'll stick card board down in both then put a ton ( not quite ) of leaf mulch down ( with my bucket) not aquired a wheelbarrow yet . Then on Saturday he 7th I'll rest

Mowing needs to be done here today. Hate it, altho the rain that caused it is welcome.
Need to plant some seeds, but also need to order some.
Unfortunately I need to make some phone calls first - and I will require tact and cunning to get what I want from the phone calls. Coffee's on - without coffee I may be cunning, but rarely tactfulAli

Good call Dot.
It's fantastic how much gardening we've managed to do so far this year.
More than 3/4 of our flower borders are weeded.
Soil still a tad craggy for weeding the veg patch though...might be able to make a start there this weekend.
This warm dry spell has made such a difference.
Hard to think this time last year we were snowed in and hadn't had a chance to do anything in the garden!"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple
