Morning all..Lovely morning here, altho the dreaded strong wind is forecast for a return tonight

Just back from a nice refreshing swim....Now work calls I'm afraid..have a good one..

Dog woke me at 5.30 so I came down, let her out for a wee and then put her back to bed and grabbed another hour's sleep on the sofa. She has had her breakfast and been out again, ripped up a few sheets of paper and a plastic bag, eaten a few crab apples and generally been a nuisance- now I have told her to go back to bed so she has decided she is going to sleep on the sofa in the daytime. I don't mind as long as she isn't fussing at me for games and toys for a while. When she has had her morning nap I will take her for her first walk. This is a full time job!

Morning all.....Windy here most of the night, still gusting this morning. And grey, although it hasn't rained. The water has finally drained from the patio, which is left green and slimy, so there's another job. Not one for today though. Tempted to put the chooks on the patio to clean the grass & weeds from between the slabs...

Not an outdoor day, with these March winds, so I'll go sewing. I have about eight play tents cut out, and lord only knows how many aprons, but I have a hankering to do a plain canvas play tent with appliqued flowers and a fox terrier. Maybe a cat and some bunnies.....I so wish I didn't have the attention span of a gnat.......

Morning all! I see that Trip is earning smug points again - exercise before work indeed! No worries, I shall catch him up when I do my circuits session at lunchtime.

It's a nice day out there today, by the look of it; my broad beans think so anyway - they're just showing their noses above the soil.

Afternoon its still windy here so I walked down to have my hair cut instead of going on the bike even though I do like the fast downhill ride.

I was supposed to have visitors two hours ago, still not bloomin' here. Spoiled my plans for the afternoon as well. Hmph!

Jules that the only problem living in Derbyshire the down- hills rides are scary fast and the up hill bits are hard work. Its not so bad on my road bike but there's no way I could tackle the hills on my little folder we take camping.

Back from an hour on the plot. Dog is napping beside me now, so I reckon she benefits from lottie time as much as a walk in the park

Aaaaaaaaaaaaarternooooooooon Peeps. My two loons have had fun today, playing with their spotty-dog chum, and racing around his garden. We had a cuppa, then adopted ball-throwing and rope-lobbing duties...

Then we went to work, where we spent two hours weeding and mulching. Gasping now.

Yes please, G4 - I'm taking a break before heading off into the kitchen with Nigel Slater.

It's mackerel/parmesan/cream mixture on toast as a snack, and chicken in watercress, almond, pumpkin seed and orange salad.

Went for my run at lunchtime and worked it so that I ended up at the big Sains by the Hill. Bought the parmesan for tonight & cat litter then caught the bus back. A good use of time, I reckon.
