    • Phew, 6 out of the 12 beds on the allotment are now dug over, one has asparagus in already and the others are ready for planting out. I have a few bushes to weed and some paths to clear and put woodchip down, but in terms of digging for planting, I am half way there!
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

      • Eeeeeeeeeeeevenin' Peeps. I too am aching. I rode again, for the fourth time this week, and exercised the dogs, and went gardening. Planted Daffies and Lillies, and sommat else I can't remember the name of. Murdered some more persistent weeds too - very satisfying!

        Coffee?

Need to get my wheelbarrow revved up now, as arrived home to a well rotted pile of manure on my lawn..
I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives....

          • Good Morning All. I think it's what used to be known as a "pea-souper" here again today, although there's nothing super about it. I think I'd prefer April showers. Have a good day

                    • There are some major advantages to living in the west, we get stronger winds, more rain and less pollution. Its apparently going to get better from tomorrow onwards, for all those under smog.

                            • The fogs not lifted much here so I've been for a walk to the next village for my Co-op tea, it was a nice round 4mile trip.
