    • Sunshine interspersed with downpours here. Just as well I had nothing energetic planned today. Taking it easy as my blood pressure has been on the high side and it makes me feel ropey. Dog has really picked up on this and has been extra quiet and soothing all day yesterday and this morning! She hasn't done much chasing about and is being really obedient.

So pleased to hear Susie's news - long may he continue to improve.
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

        • Howdy all - it's been raining all day here so I have a clean house and a fish pie prepped and ready to go in the oven.

Rain or not, though, I'm orf to the Hill in a mo to see what (besides weeds) have grown in the past couple of weeks.

Better news for Mr Q - that's just brilliant.

              • Ok, so gardening 'till dusk is all very well, but what happens if you're going out in the evening? I have a Wonderwoman style transformation to undertake.

6 mins (and counting) to wash and get lovely....

                Whoooooooooooooosh...........

                        • Moooooooooooooornin' from cold wet windy-shire. It would appear that the chum that booked the Holiday booked it for a week later than she said she would. I even checked the dates with her when we paid our half, back in March, but apparently it is my fault. Good job I have a thick skin, as everyone is taking the pee quite severely. Hubby has forgiven me, as he thinks it isn't my mistake either, as I gave him the dates at the end of last year to put in his diary.

I'll be back for coffee after horsey chores....

                            • Well morning all - I hesitate say 'Good' since it is persisting it down here. So - probably won't get the courgettes planted out then

On the plus side W**kes did finally deliver - Your delivery will be between 12.00 pm and 4.00pm - Ha! Quarter to blimmin' six and that took 4 phone calls. ARRRGGGHHH!

Thanks so much for all the kind words about Mr Q. He is still very poorly but is making a tiny bit of progress most days. Doctors say if all goes well it will take him a year to fully recover from this That's a long time. Mind you in some ways the last 10 weeks have flown by, so I am sure the next 50 or so will do the same.

A few years ago I was discussing the passage of time with students in my tutor group - they were 14-15 years old and had said how quickly Year 10 had passed. I told them that as they got older it would feel as if time was passing even more quickly. One turned to me and said "My god Miss, it must be really flying for you then!" Out of the mouths of babes

                              Have a good day all.
