  • Bull terriers love food. Maisie (pure bullie) will do what you ask if it benefits her short term, i.e. gets food straight away. Amble (bullie/lab cross) likes food but is mainly tennis ball obsessed. Anything to get him his ball and get it NOW!
When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it.
If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

      • Anything after the 80s was probably too late for me Kitty! I had my head down and was gaining additional qualifications and promotions then.

Interesting to hear the psychologists perceptions on staffys and crossbreeds these days. Apparently bull terriers are socialised in the first 40 or so days of their lives and after that they get into neophobia. And labs take a lot longer - so a cross will take a bit longer.
And labs are always ball obsessed!
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

Clear skies, light frost, and a lovely huge moon during the night!

The local farmer has transferred 10 cows and their tiny calves into the field behind our house already this morning.

So it's gardening and haircut today. Enjoy your day everyone
