            • We've got a cloudy start to the day, there was even a hint of drizzle in the air an hour ago but the sun is peeping out now.

The repointing man is here again this morning to finish the job he started yesterday. Hopefully he cracks on with it and will be done by lunchtime.

              • Mostly sunny now - lazy start to my day - always dangerous as I sit with the laptop wandering round the garden sites and I have just 'accidentally' bought a solar fountain / birdbath.
Well I did want one of each, so this is an economical solution... surely?
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

                  • Artnoon All Hope the sun is shining on Grapeland today
I've been wandering round the garden - giving a tug here, a nip there and a windround over by there.
Have lifted some more shallots/onions grown from last year's saved sets. I say "onions" because they haven't split like shallots but grown into one big bulb - suits me just fine
                    Enjoy your days

                    • Just been out to the Sales and treated myself to a new top and loads and loads of 50% off buttons for my craft waork...and some fantastic material to recover the dining chairs.

                      REALLY chuffed!!

then- came home and picked a measuring jug full of peas ( now podded and in freezer) fresh lettuce to put in the lunch sandwich and enough sweetpeas to put in the lounge and 2 bedrooms.

Now I'm done outside , it can start to rain please!!

                      • I've just finished updating my blog. I was about to go back out to the allotment for a couple of hours when I got a text from Mrs H: "Don't go out, I've forgotten my key".

Ah well, nothing else for it except another cup of tea and a biscuit and a rummage through the seed box and see what else is in the July section that I can sow here at home.

Just to say that two out of the last 3 sheds I have bought were from Tiger Sheds. They were both very sturdy for the price and have both survived being relocated. I am much less happy with the other one which was from B and Q - very flimsy and has warped despite a coat of a well known shed paint that does exactly what it says on the tin.

So I suggest you look at Tiger's range.

                            • Evening peeps!

A virtual prize to Nicos who was right in that I went to Pickering at the weekend - went on the North Yorks Moor Railway, Pickering Castle, Eden Camp POW museum, Staithes village (where the allotments were). All brilliant - especially the Black Sheep bitter.
