Afternoon all!
Hope you took your suncream to Wisley, Martin - hot 'n' sunny everywhere, I think. Sounds like a lovely day out.
Still a bit warm out there, but I'm getting another training session done. I've done two in two days which means that I ache like mad, but I'm going for the hattrick just to get this one out the way.
See ya later!

Just back from a lovely day at Wisley, only slightly spoiled by the two-hour traffic jam on the M25 on the way home. Suncream not needed, Hazel, because I wore my panama. I admired the trial gardens from the top of the hill where the sculpture isn't, Dotty, but didn't go down to inspect because of the thought of the climb back up again. But the gardens are in great shape, I'll definitely make another Summer trip sometime.

Sounds like you had a lovely time, Martin.
My washing's on the line - I must get it in, it'll be bone dry. We have storms forecast for all day Saturday, and much as I welcome the rain, I would have liked to spend at least a part of the day at the Hill. I don't gardening in a bit of drizzle, but I draw the line at thunder and lightning
It's still might hot out there, peeps - my run in the park was not going to break any records tonight, but it's done. In the face of some adversity too - I was whacking back and forth up one of the tracks doing my 100m repeats when a herd of cows a good 100 strong entered stage left from the holly bank on their way to the stream on right. Always a good move to give way to a herd of cows, and it did give me a decent pause for recovery.

I have had to banish the dog to her sleeping crate - she needs the rest as much as I do
A short while ago she trotted into the living room with my sharpest, most lethal, kitchen knife in her mouth!
And got growly with me when I went to take it off her!!!
It is too hot for both of us so she is chilling out in her bed and I am sitting here sweltering.Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?
