Right - so what's to be done today. It's raining, so we'd better split things into inside and outside activities.
Inside: Make more cookies to share
make a fruit cake for the Annual Show next weekend
finish spring cleaning spare room - vac 'n' dust, change light shade, wash curtains
make shepherd's pies for the freezer
outside: training run put off from Thursday
pick a million beans and cougettes at the Hill
take carpet cleaner back to the carpet cleaner repair shop
nip to the shops for the paper and tea bags
Hmm - enough to be going on with.

Right - teabags being the priority, I'll do 'nip to the shops' to see if little Waitrose has the special offer on for the brand I like. If not, I'll have to go to the bigger store in the car - which is conveniently right by the Hill.
Hang on - changed my mind - if I'm out in the car to go to the Hill anyway later on, I might as well scratch 'nipping to the shops' as the only other thing I'm after is the paper, and I can get that from the supermarket too.
Golly - that's one job off the list, without actually doing anything!
So - I'll don my pinny, I think, and get baking.
