Good afternoon peeps..Hope everyone is all well..Its Friday!!..Best day of the week..Its been a nice day here today but the last 1hr or so its gotten mighty windy...Gonna go for a quick shower then head out for a few beers with the lads..Time for some ME time...Enjoy the rest of your friday peeps

Hello, storm raging here with rain like stair rods. All good for the beans. Happy Friday Appointment at the opticians is Tuesday, so computer is on 150 per cent!

Just started raining here, just as I was watering the tomatoes!! Putting the washing out was a waste of time.
Still it's nice steady rain and the garden needs it.
I'm now sat in doors wondering what to do.....

Eeevening everyone - just back from the dog walk - it is steamingly humid here and darkly cloudy - I wouldn't be surprised if we had a thunderstorm before nightfall whatever the forecast says.

Too hot for exertions at dog training plus which Rosie is in one of her disobedient moods - I had to chase her round two fields and enlist the help of two other dogwalkers before I got her back on the lead. So it is back to the old training routine where she is only let off with a long trailing lead - not so much fun for her but she has to learn. Nothing worse than a springer heading for the horizon!

And evenin' all from me too. Back from Godmother's funeral - my brother is a superstar for having driven us 80 miles each way in both the rain (on the way there), rush hour (on the way back) and through roadworks both ways.

It's humid - I don't think we've had any rain here.

It might be FRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDAY but my throat's dry and I've just brewed up - anyone want a cup?

Yes please Hazel, just started to rain here, put the parasol away, so I can be sure that it will all pass us by.
Just cooked a nice dinner and I've still got indigestion from lunchtime.

Omg!! Nearly dropped my glass of wine!!
The red arrows just flew over on the way to the IOW, they were very low, right over our house - I could see the pilots!!
Quite amazing.

Well, I must admit I'm quite boring when it comes to books and often just stick to thrillers/crime or the odd left over kids books...loved the Hunger Games. Tonight though it was choice between Like Water for Chocolate and The Book Thief...
