Well you've lost me tonight, but as long as you are all playing nicely, then that's the main thing.
So this evening I've done a sewing repair job for mum, then tackled a troublesome quilting job which has sat on the machine since last December and updated the quilt blog.
I'm always lost, Hazel
This afternoon I went to a little birthday gathering for the husband of an old friend - someone I've known since I was 16 - and that's a very long time Its funny how friends remember things I've completely forgotten, and things I thought I'd remembered were wrong!
I hope she has remembered some things wrongly too - for example, that my nickname was Honker because of my laugh, that I was going to be a missionary and my favourite sweets were Jap Nuggets? No idea what they were and the missionary bit must have been said as a joke. The Honker name sounds right though
It was good to catch up on old times even if they were tinged with sadness, remembering old friends who are no longer with us.
Hope you're all OK - see you tomorrow
Has taken me all day to remember my password. Not sure why the site suddenly wanted it. And a bit ticked that there wasn't a 'Forgotten your password' button to press.
Guess I should just think myself lucky that I did eventually remember it. If I disappear one day, forever; You'll know why.
Over 30 C here today. Everything is running to seed. What didn't get zapped with a frost the other morning is now drying out and turning it's toes up.
Some days it's hardly worth chewing through the restraints!
One bit of old folklore wisdom says to plant tomatoes when the soil is warm enough to sit on with bare buttocks. In surburban areas, use the back of your wrist. Jackie French
