  • a thank you

I have just been drifting through the forum (is the proper term surfing?) and it really is a pleasant way to spend an evening, as there is a great depth of information and knowledge available. If you ask a question you get an answer or directed to a previous post or given something to click on to to take you into the internet, to the people who provide this information and knowledge from some one who is not that good with computers
I thank you all very much
it may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

Why you are so very welcome, Rary. Wish it had been me that had helped

Drifting sums it up very nicely, rary
This place is like the Goggle of Gardening - somebody will always come along with an answer whatever the question. Usually lots of answers that don't always agree.........

I think it is a "Hive" mentality, thousands of like minded gardeners all who know varying degrees about any likely subject, my speciality for instance is how NOT to do things, I have made a life time of mistakes. From such gems as dont eat the yellow snow to dont drink a gallon of wheat and raisin wine while it is still fermenting. Some gardeners guard their secrets fiercely whereas in this fellowship everyone generously shares them.

Be sure to take a ball of twine with you when you drift through the Vine, Rary, so you can find your way home - 'tis very easy to while away the hours.
