  • DIY Daleks

Trying to save a bit of cash, I have bought some largs poly bins, the type bulk fruit is transported in. I've cut the bases out and am using them as composters. They probably hold around the same volume as a standard size Dalek. Would it be a good idea to drill vent holes in the sides? I had a look at some propriety bins in a garden centre and they didn't seem to have any side vents.
I you'st to have a handle on the world .. but it BROKE!!

I've never seen vent holes in Daleks but it would be interesting to try. Let us know how you get on.

      Hot stuff.

Daleks rely on heat, lots of it, drilling holes will let the heat out.

My Daleks don't have side vents.

From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

I wouldn't bother with holes, but try and stir it up with something now and again to aerate it a bit.
