  • Caaaaake! Showing Off....

All finished, lacquered and shiny! The writing is a bit uneven and wobbly - discovered that I'm not too great at gripping the piping syringe now. Overall, I'm just a tiny bit ever so chuffed!

Grumpy Dad hasn't seen the writing bit yet.....

I hope it is edible, Hazel.....

It's a triple layer vanilla sponge, filled and covered with dark chocolate ganache and two layers of sickly sweet fondant icing.

The spare radio knobs were very tasty!

Wow Jules! That's brilliant, well done. I wish my normal writing with a pen was as "wobbly and uneven" as yours I wouldn't even begin to try writing on a cake. You should be very proud, it is lovely.
