Ok so I'm nearing a big age milestone, I won't say which!!, and the other half asked me what I'd like to do for it. I said no parties I don't do big family gathering, my idea of hell not heaven....
I'm not sure we are quite on the same wavelength however when I said I'd like to go away somewhere for a break, I suggested Llwyn Helyg (luxury B&B), and the other half was thinking gwdy hw (self catering Treehouse!!).
Now I like the look of the latter, but not for a comfortable night sleep!!
So I'm asking for your suggestions as I'm not really coming up with something that really grabs me.
I do have come criteria to consider 1, It needs to be either part of or near a really good restaurant, I want a cracking evening meal one that's lip smacking. 2, I like the countryside rather than city centres somewhere where you can go for a nice walk. 3, It needs to have generous beds, I have a super king size at home so anything less than a king would seem like a poor relative!!
So if you know of anything within a couple of hours of Wales, your ideas and thoughts would be much appreciated. It could be a great Inn, a vineyard with rooms, a country house, a top banana B&B, an unusual self catering folly near a good restaurant, or something I've yet to consider I'm really open to suggestions.
