Beardy!

Ok there is one advantage of having a beard I think, and that is your face doesn't get as cold in winter when you take the dog for a walk.
Disadvantages it takes longer to care for a beard than it does to shave, when you try and blow a tickle off your nose the hair gets in the way. The edges of your mouth need constant maintenance to keep food away and to stop the thick hair from itching your lips. And finally some of us don't grow a beard in the same colour as our hair, I'm mousy blonde my beard full on ginger!!!

I've had a beard since 8th November 1979. The day I left the R.A.F. and the day I married my beloved. Beards been down to my navel but now I try and keep at that 'untidy/scruffy length to annoy the mother in law! Don't shave at all but the side burns get a small trim if they start lashing the eyes when out sea fishing.

I'd hate it if OH had a beard as I find them very scratchy, also think that MOST people look better clean shaven, partly as beards can be very aging. Don't think it helps that one of my first ever bosses always used to have food stuck in his which made you want to heave
