Absolutely stunning. Must make any downsides of living where you do seem piddlingly insignificant. Thanks for posting such a wonderful picture. Certainly beats the overcast wet gloom here.

Thanks for your kind words. It looked even better when Mr PP first rolled up the shutters and went WOW! By the time I'd got dressed, been to the loo, found the camera and fed two cats that clearly were on the point of starvation, it looked like that - there had been more contrast and depth.
Some days it's hardly worth chewing through the restraints!

The Islands now clearly visible,on the islands (uninhabited nature reserves) the is a giant carrot,roots well over a foot long & with foliage in excess of four feet,but try as hard as I can it seems impossible to get any seeds
