Nic's bought himself a digital piano. Lighter than a real piano and with headphones and loads of other features that a real one wouldn't have.
He says it's lovely. He has to get rid of some of the keyboards he has now though.

We got a digital one for the headphone reason, it's been well used. Useful for recording and playing back so that they can hear it themselves but if they want to do grades after 5 they need a "proper" one. We now have them both! Guaranteed he won't part with any...

            He's got 2 on ebay.
That's only 2 out of the however many he's got. I think some are synth things though. All over my head as I struggle to play my zylophone. Although I did manage 'warm kitty, soft kitty' today!

Well, I went to see one on the weekend and its in fair to middling condition. I'm off to pick it up this evening, with 2 of my neighbours for assistance. I've borrowed a trolley from the piano tuner which should help, but getting it down an external flight of valleys steps is going to be interesting. I'll post a piccie later when it is ensconced in the lounge.
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

Mr Pots once collected a piano for a friend on the back of our pickup he says that 3 of them managed it fine, so all the best with yours Mikey.

Well the piano is now sat in the lounge, I took 2 neighbours with me just to make sure. Between the 4 of us we managed fine. There we 6 steps just outside the house, and like a lot of valley properties, they were about 65 degrees and not long enough to get all of your foot on!!

We managed though and here's a little piccie of it sat in the lounge. Its a Wagner which I think is Czechoslovakian? not really sure. It has no real age but even out of tune it has a nice tone to it.

I'll have to do something about the stool though, its not a great colour match!!!
